Scam With Your Friends Steam key

Quick answerVerified
There are no legitimate Steam keys for Scam With Your Friends on sale. The game is unreleased, has no price, and the only official source will be the Steam store.

Why key sites cannot have it yet

Steam keys are generated by the developer. Until a game is on sale, keys normally exist only for press, creators and testers. Scam With Your Friends is still marked "not yet available" on Steam, with no price and no purchase button, so a store selling a full-game key today has nothing real to sell.

How access actually works right now

  • Playtest: granted through Steam in waves to people who signed up before signups closed, plus up to three friends invited by each tester. See the playtest page.
  • Unlimited AI ($8): an optional playtest add-on sold only on the developers' own site. Its page states plainly that no game key or playtest access is included.
  • Full game: on sale on Steam from the Early Access launch.

Staying safe

  • Only sign in to Steam on steampowered.com and steamcommunity.com. Check the address bar.
  • Do not run installers for this game from anywhere but Steam.
  • Use the Discord invite shown on the Steam page or the developers' site, not one from a random video description. See Discord.
  • If a deal needs you to pay in gift cards, it is the plot of the game, not a store.

After launch

Once the game is on sale, authorized key stores may appear if the developers choose to work with them. We will list confirmed ones here. Until then, the price page tracks what is known about cost.
