Is Scam With Your Friends on Xbox?
Is the Xbox Scam With Your Friends the real one?
It is a real game, but not the one from the trailer and the viral clips. The Xbox and Microsoft Storelisting names Hidden Floor Games as developer and publisher. The Steam game is made by JakeHub and Metater and published by Jatater Worldwide, and neither its Steam page nor the official site mentions Xbox, the Microsoft Store or Hidden Floor Games.
The Xbox game came out on October 7, 2026, eight days before the Steam game's Early Access. On October 12 its store page showed up near the top of Google when we searched the name, which is probably why so many people now ask whether the game is on Xbox.

What the Xbox game is
We have not played it. Its store description, in short:
- A first-person co-op office comedy set in a fictional call center, with a cash quota per shift.
- Six computers, 20-minute shifts, and calls that ring at random on the six desks; you have 30 seconds to pick up.
- AI callers you talk to with your microphone or by typing, with a trust level to watch.
- Solo play or online rooms of up to six players: public lobbies, random rooms or a room code, plus proximity voice chat.
- AI coworkers who also answer calls, a camera, a paint program and printed pictures you can stick on the walls.
- Upgrades bought with your earnings, and controller support alongside keyboard and mouse.
Like the Steam game, it says everything in it is fictional. Microsoft Store ratings are ESRB E and PEGI 3, with USK 16 in Germany, and the store offers a free trial.
What the Steam game has that the Xbox one does not
- Kolkata OS, a full in-game desktop with more than 45 apps. See scams and apps.
- Remote access to callers' computers, daily quotas and the boss's performance review. See how to play.
- Voice AI that runs partly on your PC: speech recognition and the callers' voices are local. See AI callers.
- Mods: custom caller personalities from JSON and voice files. See mods.

Will the Steam game come to Xbox?
Not announced. Steam lists Windows only, and the developers have not mentioned an Xbox, PlayStation or Switch version in their official Discord. Their plan is Early Access on Steam from October 15, 2026 and a full release targeted for mid-December 2026. If that changes, we will update the platforms page.
On an Xbox today, the only game by the developers you might reach is the free Roblox Edition, inside the Roblox app. Its description listed PC, mobile and console on October 9, 2026; the current one no longer names devices, so check in the app.
How to tell them apart
- Look at the developer. The Steam game shows JakeHub and Metater, publisher Jatater Worldwide. The Xbox game shows Hidden Floor Games.
- Look at the store. The Steam game is only sold on Steam. Anything on the Xbox Store or Microsoft Store is the other game.
- Look at the price. The developers announced $10 for the Steam game; the Xbox game is $6.59 in the US.
